但目前行业标准太低, 无法阻止这些问题的发生。too ... to ... 通常用来表示否定含义, 意为“太......而不能......”。例如：That was too difficult for him to understand. 那个对他来说太难了，他理解不了。stop sth. / sb. from doing sth. 阻止某人做某事，阻止某事发生；from后接动词-ing形式。例如：Can you stop him from smoking? 你能劝他不要抽烟吗？
迈克尔:但目前行业标准太低, 无法阻止这些问题的发生。
Melinda：I agree. And if the companies are punished severely enough，it may send a clear message to all other companies.
